Erprath Mills – a symbol of continuity and family tradition

For all its progressiveness and rapid development, the company has held fast to the classic values that have characterised the business policy of the family business since it began producing breadcrumbs under the name BRATA in 1953.

For all family members and employees, uncompromising quality thinking, attention to detail, care in production and respect for established customer relationships are part of the BRATA code of honour.

The old Erprath Mills in the Erft valley are a symbol of this continuity of values. There, in the south of Neuss, a stone’s throw from the Erft, is the headquarters of the still young company. This building, where a mill operation is documented as early as the 13th century, is now home to the modern facilities for the production of breadcrumbs and food coatings. For both the family and the employees, this tradition is a signpost for reliable consistency.
