Increasing demand and the investment in new technologies for the production of breadcrumbs are the decisive points for the construction of a new production line. With the location in the Nettetal district of Breyell, a site of about 130,000 m² has been found. In terms of size and connections, it corresponds to the company’s ideal conception. In 2020 the new building was completed. The site is located directly on the 61 motorway not far from the conurbations on the rivers Rhine and Ruhr and logistically close to the European overseas ports.
The city on the left bank of the Rhine on the river Nette is characterised by extensive nature reserves with lakes, forests and floodplain landscapes. As a supplier to the food industry, this natural park ambience provides BRATA with a magnificent backdrop for highly efficient production using innovative technology.
In Europe’s largest breadcrumb factory, there is enough capacity for new articles. In addition to the well-known breadcrumbs, trendsetters are also produced here.
